Eastwood Valley Golf & Country Club: After opening in 2005, Eastwood Valley gained a reputation as one of Sarawak's best golf courses, often rated amongst Malaysia's Top 10. Laid out to blend with its natural surroundings, the Douglas Nickels design will thoroughly test all facets of your game. If you dare to play this 7,500 yard behemoth from the tips, you better bring your big-hitting A-game, nothing less will do.
The good-width and occasionally tightish fairways are frequently lined by long threatening ponds. Plenty of stylish bunkering also adds to the aesthetic and testing qualities of Eastwood Valley. The course frequently requires accurate shot placement in order to hit the fast dramatically contoured greens.
Pick of the holes: the signature hole of the course is the 160-metre par-3 13th. Reminiscent of the 17th at TPC Sawgrass, here you play to an island green that sits out in a long "ribbon" lake. This same lake ensures that every other hole on the back-nine is also played with water providing a constant and significant threat.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.
Must book in advance.
Non-metal spike facility.

Lottie Woad: 21-year-old Woad burst onto the professional scene in July, with wins in the Women’s Irish Open (as an amateur) and three weeks later in the Women’s Scottish Open (as a professional). She nearly picked-up a major championship, placing third in The Evian in the same month.
