El Camaleon, Mayakoba
El Camaleón Golf Club at the Mayakoba Resort is home to a championship golf course that ranks with some of the best in Mexico. This very natral tree-lined and open parkland layout provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy.
The Chameleon's expansive and briefly oceanside layout is, as its name suggests, ever changing. The layout weaves through three distinct environments. These include dense tropical jungle, mangrove forests, and on two holes, stunning oceanfront stretches of sand.
On several occasions the course is bisected by large limestone canals. Designer Greg Norman has even incorporated a cenote, an ancient underground cavern and river system into the centre of the opening fairway.
El Camaleón's par 3s are among the course's highlights, with the 7th and 15th holes playing right to the edge of the Carribbean Sea. In the distance is one of the world's largest coral reefs and the island of Cozumel. A Mexican "must play."

El Camaleón Mayakoba holds six Audubon International certifications for environmental stewardship and awareness.
Mexico's 8th best course (Golf Digest, 2022).
