Hamilton Golf Club, often referred to as the "St Andrews course", previously had company in New Zealand as a course named after Scotland's famed Auld Grey Toon. On the country's South Island, directly off State Hwy 1 near the town of Timaru, you would find the 18-hole St Andrews Golf Club. Sadly it closed in 2018.
