Golfe do Bom Sucesso

4-star: Above average course - well worth a visit.

Est. 2008

Golfe do Bom Sucesso: This new 18-hole championship golf course stretches along the length of the Bom Sucesso resort, and in time will be joined by housing, a luxury hotel, Spa and other leisure facilities. The proximity of Óbidos lagoon and the sea (the Costa Prata, Silver Coast, is just 3 km away), will provide home-owners with fabulous views. Golfers also benefit from the beauty of the resort's natural surroundings. The par-72 layout, designed by the renowned architect Donald Steel, comprises a front-nine played on relatively level terrain, while the back-nine offers a more undulating landscape. The putting surfaces are full of interesting and challenging slopes and borrows, often defended by good-quality bunkering, which is shaped with wavy, gnarled features rather than being smooth-lined in appearance.
