West Cliffs Golf Links: This new 5-star resort is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Óbidos lagoon, laid out on rolling sand dunes interspersed with coastal vegetation. Managed by Praia D’El Rey Marriott Golf & Beach Resort (which is located 8 km along the coast to the south-west), West Cliffs has been created over 200 hectares of natural landscape, and is already being hailed as one of Portugal's finest.
Set back a few hundred yards from the sea, the two nine-hole loops of West Cliffs are laid out to the east and west of the modern clubhouse. Both nines are bordered by pine groves and rolling sand dunes, and offer sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. Immediately to the south of the course are the 18-holes of the Royal Óbidos golf course.
In due course properties and accommodations will be developed, but only on the southern sections of the perimeter.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.

Although the Algarve and the Estoril coast have long captured the golf destination honours in Portugal, the Costa Prata (Silver Coast) has powered into view in recent years. Here in close proximity to each other you will find the original standard bearer, Praia D'El Rey, and relative newcomers Bom Sucesso (2008), Royal Obidos (2012) and West Cliffs (2017).

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour.
