Pitlochry Golf Club

3-PLUS: Good course - several memorable features; worthy of 3½ stars.

Est. 1895

Pitlochry Golf Club, home to a pleasant tree-lined and open parkland layout, is located on the edge of the Tay Forest, a 30-minute drive north of the city of Perth. At just over 5,600 yards from the back tees, Pitlochry is too short to be described as a championship layout. Although length maybe lacking, golfing challenges and stunning highland scenery is here in abundance, especially after you've "scaled" the initial five-hole ascent to the layout's higher level.
