Did you know?

Formerly named after the nearby village of Grönhögen, the golf course now takes the name of the island on which it is located off the southeast coast of Sweden. Öland is Sweden's second largest island, behind neighbouring Gotland, and can be accessed by a modern road bridge, which connects the mainland city of Kalmar to Färjestaden on the island. There is also the option of a car ferry across the Kalmar Strait.
