Täby Golfklubb

4-PLUS: Must play course - excellent standard; worthy of 4½ stars.

Täby Golfklubb: Based on the tranquility and naturalness of the setting, its hard to believe you are just outside Stockholm's city limits. You are also at the golf course that inspired the young Jesper Parnevik to great things. The undulating swales of the opener, a short par-5 with a wonderfully elevated green, signals the ups and downs (and strong design) of the course, as well as providing a sneak preview of the wonderful lake (Vallentunasjon) that will be your constant companion on the back-nine. From the 14th to the 17th you'll be playing right up against the lakeside enjoying the fabulous climax this golf course provides. Definitely one to play if visiting Stockholm.
