Chee Chan is located in the Silverlake area, 30 minutes from Pattaya City.
Chee Chan Golf Resort is a relative newcomer to the golfing landscape in Thailand's Chon Buri province. The course is located 20 km south of the renowned Siam Country Club, whose four courses have tended to rule the golfing roost in the Pattaya area ... until now.
This excellently crafted and relatively open parkland layout, offers continuous views of the famed Khao Chee Chan Buddha. As if to underline the Buddha's importance, the relatively easy-going par-4 1st leads you straight towards the hallowed hillside carving. An early close-up view ... and perhaps a quick prayer. The par-5 2nd, with water continually on your left from tee-to-green, will probably establish if your prayers have been answered. There's more water to come on the front-nine; a bit less on the back-nine loop.
With the ever present "Buddha Mountain of Pattaya" as a backdrop, David Dale's 7,345 yard layout promises a memorable round ... whatever your handicap. Good-width gently rolling fairways, several small lakes and ponds, and stylish fairway and greenside bunkering are key elements of this much lauded design.

In almost continual view from the golf course is the Khao Chi Chan Buddha. This iconic gold image was laser-carved onto the face of a nearby solitary limestone hill, commemorating the King of Thailand’s golden jubilee in 1996.
Also close by is the Silverlake vineyard and winery, and Silverlake Wine & Grill restaurant.
2020 Golf Digest rating: No.1 course in Thailand.
