From the Sukhumvit area of downtown Bangkok, take the Ramindra Expressway until the end. Exit right onto route 304, direction Minburi. Go past the intersection with the Eastern Outer Ring Road (route 9). In Minburi stay on the 304, which becomes Suwinthawong Road. After approx 15 km entrance to President CC golf is on your right at km 52 marker (approx 8 km after entrance to Windsor Park golf, which is on Suwinthawong Road on your left).
President Country Club (North-East course): 36 excellent holes of golf, located in a wonderfully unspoilt rural setting, are on offer here at President Country Club. The North-East course is just a fraction shorter than the West-South combination, but makes up for this small length difference with some slightly more technical challenges - mainly based on a fine array of dog-legging holes, especially on the back-nine.
The two out-and-back loops, North (1 thru' 9) and East (10 thru' 18) are flanked by tranquil, open, marshland, although not quite so picturesquely as on the West-South combination. At times there is more of a parkland feel to the North-East course, with plenty of water to be negotiated on the dog-legging back-nine and very substantive greenside bunkering on most holes.
Despite the close proximity of many bunkers, the greens are not always overly large, which places a big premium on accurate approach play. A pleasant array of smallish trees and gentle earthmounding provides good separation and definition to each hole, while the plentiful supply of water creates many hazards which you'll need to negotiate.
Bringing you back to the President's palatial clubhouse is a good-length par-4 closing hole, which shares a small lake and the final green with a hole from another golf course, the 18th on the West-South course.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends. Closed Mondays.

President Country Club has hosted several top level national tournaments, for both professionals and amateurs. The impressive Mediterranean style clubhouse contains a wide range of excellent facilities, including a large health club with saunas and Jacuzzis, as well as top-quality restaurants serving multinational cuisine.
