Where2Golf says:

River Kwai Golf & Country Club: Many golfers are keen to play the course which bears the name of this famous region. There may be better designed and presented courses in the River Kwai region, but the jungle-lined fairways of this sometimes hilly course, will certainly provide your game with a challenging and exciting workout. The course is located alongside the banks of River Kwai Noi. With water in play on most holes, and several long tee shots to make this is both a very natural and at times testing course.

Did you know?

The River Kwai region and railway bridge over the River Kwai Noi in Kanchanaburi have become major tourist attractions in Thailand, much helped by the 1957 feature film, "Bridge on the River Kwai". The film is actually based on a fictional novel , during which time several bridges and over 250-miles of track were constructed. The appalling treatment of the enforced labour (mainly enslaved Malays and military prisoners of war) and the resulting tragic cost in human lives, earning the railway the title, the "death railway".
