Black Gold Golf Club: A popular course with Orange County golfers, this Arthur Hills designed par-72 layout stretches up to 6,756 yards from the tips. Operated by the City of Yorba Linda, the layout incorporates several water features including a cascading waterfall off the 18th green, slight elevation changes, rolling hills and plenty of strategic bunkering.
Arranged in two nine-hole loops that head out-and-back to the east and west of the clubhouse, the course is bounded to the north by grass-covered hills, while the properties that flank the southern boundary are generally set well out of harm's way.
As the course weaves its way along and through the nicely undulating terrain, you can enjoy wonderful vistas overlooking Orange and Los Angeles Counties, including portions of the Newport Beach Coast, and Catalina Island.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.
Must book in advance.
Golf carts compulsory.

Lottie Woad: 21-year-old Woad burst onto the professional scene in July, with wins in the Women’s Irish Open (as an amateur) and three weeks later in the Women’s Scottish Open (as a professional). She nearly picked-up a major championship, placing third in The Evian in the same month.
