True Blue
True Blue Golf Plantation is the fourth golf course created by the late, great golf architect Mike Strantz. Next door at Caledonia Golf & Fishing Club is his first design. Stretching to 7,126 yards from the tips, this challenging layout sits on the site of the historic True Blue Plantation, a renowned 19th-century indigo and rice plantation.
Ranking with some of the best in South Carolina, this predominantly tree-lined "sandbelt" course provides a wonderful test for your all-round game. Large sandy waste areas line many of the fairways, along with woodland and occasionally good-sized ponds. Although absent on most holes, water makes is seriously present at the island-green par-3 3rd, U-shaped par-5 4th, and on the very testing closing trio. A must play if you are in the Myrtle Beach area.

Excellent
In existence since the early-1700s, the True Blue plantation was originally owned by Anthony Shorey. His son Anthony Shorey Jr gave the property to his sister, Ann Shorey Pawley, who passed it to her son, George Pawley. The name True Blue is derived from the indigo plant which was grown on the plantation for use in making blue dye.

Scottie Scheffler: narrowly missed out on matching Nelly Korda's five wins in five starts, when he placed second at the Houston Open. Either side of that, he won The Arnold Palmer, The Players, and then The Masters and The Heritage.
