Fox Hollow Golf Club holds the enviable distinction of being the last course in a long line of world famous golf courses to be designed and built by Robert Trent Jones Snr. Since its inception, Fox Hollow has grown and developed into one of the Tampa Bay area's finest and best-known semi-private clubs. The club also boasts excellent practice facilities and teaching staffs.
Rolling fairways, subtle elevation changes, gentle undulations and excellent bunkering create a vintage Trent Jones test of golf. The top-quality, sloping and often quite large greens, will put your putting through its paces. With an open aspect to much of the course and a pleasant mix of scenery beyond, Fox Hollow allows you to enjoy your golf to the full.
Generally recognised as one of Florida's top-quality golf layouts and a very good tree-lined and open parkland course. Here you will find many excellent holes to enjoy, with several winding their way past threatening water hazards to often elevated and impressively bunkered greens. A must play if you are in the area.
Semi-private club - visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.
Must book in advance.
Non-metal spike facility. Walking permitted.

Fox Hollow is one of the last golf courses to be designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Snr, and was constructed under the supervision of Roger Rulewich. Although recognised as one of the greatest American golf course architects of all time, Robert Trent Jones was born in England (in Ince-in-Makerfield, nr Wigan, Lancashire, in 1906). He emigrated "across the pond" with his parents at the age of five.
The family settled in East Rochester, New York where young Robert took the job of golf professional at Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club in New York state. Although an avid and skilled golfer, health problems prevented him from becoming a regular tour professional, which proved to be a blessing in disguise for the legions of amateur and professional golfers who derive great pleasure playing his many wonderfully designed golf courses.
