Viera East
Viera East Golf Club: Like one of its near neighbours (Baytree National), Viera East pleasantly plays through a residential development in a classically Floridian golf setting.
This relatively open and flattish layout weaves its way along good-width, gently mounded fairways. The rough is accommodating rather than penal. Plenty of relatively shallow fairway and greenside bunkering is built into the mounding.
Many holes are attractively lined and well defined by palms, oaks and pine, with the housing generally set back out of harm's way. Like many a Florida course, wetland areas and small lakes make their presence felt on several occasions.
The par-5 14th is played to an island-green, while the par-3 7th requires an accurate shot onto a peninsula-green. Several other greens are closely flanked by water, requiring good quality approach play to get close to the pin, but stay dry at the same time.
A bit of traffic noise drifts across the 6th, 8th and 11th holes, which are played closest to I-95, but nothing that will overly disturb your enjoyment of this pleasant and challenging, if not overly dramatic, parkland-residential course. The "Hook & Eagle Tavern" provides a welcoming and comfortable clubhouse restaurant in which to conduct your après-round post-mortem.

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf.
