Reynolds Lake Oconee (The Landing course)

4-star: Above average course - well worth a visit.

Est. 1986

Reynolds Lake Oconee (The Landing course): The Landing, originally known as Port Armor Golf Club and then Reynolds Landing, is a well-rated and always popular golf course. The original golf course at Lake Oconee, the layout made its debut in 1986. It features a variety of holes that wind through naturally wooded areas and rolling hills, making the course enjoyable for players of all levels. Three holes wrap dramatically along the shoreline.

Spread around the extensive lakeside and residential development of Reynolds Lake Oconee are 117-holes of golf, contained in five public-access courses and the members-only Creek Club course.

The Reynolds Lake Oconee courses have been designed and crafted by a veritable Who's Who of great course architects, including: Jack Nicklaus (Great Waters), Bob Cupp (The Landing and The Preserve), Tom Fazio (27-hole The National course), Rees Jones (The Oconee), and Jim Engh (The Creek Club).

Did you know?

Recognised for its natural beauty and riverside forests, the Oconee River has provided a family retreat for over 100 years. Many families quickly decided to "linger longer," turning one-or-two day visits into three-four-or five day family retreats.

By 1982, the river had become Lake Oconee, and Reynolds Plantation, now known as Reynolds Lake Oconee, was founded. It has evolved into a globally recognised resort, community and club, with six golf courses, nine dining venues, four full-service marinas, swimming pools, 21 miles of walking and biking trails, a world class fitness and tennis club, and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel at its centre.
