Did you know?

Bear Slide is located just across the large Morse Reservoir from the town of Cicero, IL. The town takes its name from Cicero, New York, which was named after Marcus Tullius Cicero (106-43 BC), the great Roman philosopher, writer, politician, lawyer, orator and political theorist. He is widely considered one of Rome's greatest orators and writers, who had a huge influence on the Latin language.

Cicero, IL was originally a mainly Czech or Bohemian town. The 1980s and 1990s saw a heavy influx of people from Mexico and Central America, which substantially changed the town's demographics.
