Boyne Highlands is home to four 18-hole courses. At the resort centre is the HEATHER course (par-72, 7154 yds from back tees, designer Robert Trent Jones Sr, opened 1966). Located 2 mi north of the Heather course and main resort centre, and sharing the same clubhouse are: ARTHUR HILLS course (par-73, 7312 yds, Arthur Hills, 1999); DONALD ROSS MEMORIAL course (par-72, 6814 yds, William Newcomb et al, 1989) and the MOOR course (par-72, 6850 yds, William Newcomb, 1974).
5 mi NE of Harbor Springs.
Heather course is located alongside the Boyne Highlands resort centre. The Ross, Hills and Moor courses share the Donald Ross clubhouse, which is located 2 miles further north on Heather Drive.
Boyne Highlands Resort (Moor course): Located a few miles north of Harbor Springs in Northern Michigan, Boyne Highlands is home to no less than four championship golf courses: the highly rated Heather course, the Arthur Hills, the Donald Ross Memorial course and the Moor layout. With the Robert Trent Jones Jr designed Heather course as the standard bearer, Boyne Highlands is recognised as one of Michigan's best quality golf venues.
The four courses provide a wonderful test for your all-round game with many excellent holes to enjoy. Designed with numerous twists and turns, the front-nine of The Moor favours faders of the ball, with holes 1, 2, 7 and 9 showing their curves immediately off the tee. The back-nine opens with one of the most challenging par-4 holes at Boyne Highlands - a tight driving hole with three separate ponds situated on the left and right sides of the fairway, and another immediately in front of the green. The snaking par-5 18th is another testing hole, keeping the challenge alive with one last water hazard to clear.
