Firestone CC
Located just to the south of Akron in Ohio, the private Firestone Country Club is home to three championship courses: the North, South and West. The best known of the trio is the South course, host to many top level tournaments, including US PGA and US Senior PGA Championships, as well as World Golf Championship (WGC) events.
The North Course, which was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr and opened in 1969, is noted for the scenic beauty of its lakes and streams. The West Course, a links-style layout designed by Tom Fazio in 2001, is built around the perimeter of the South Course and is home to the Ohio Senior Open.
Firestone is generally recognised as one of Ohio's top golfing venues, with its well-crafted and challenging courses. However, this is a private club with its courses generally playable only by members and their guests.
Firestone is a private club. Guests may only play if hosted by a member.
Walking permitted. Caddies available on all three courses.
