Kenton County Golf Courses: once home to three 18-hole golf courses, Kenton County's Fox Run course was closed in 2019. This left the Michael Hurdzan-designed Willows course, and the shorter (5,996 yard) Pioneer course to be enjoyed by local golfers.
The well-rated Willows layout, offers a tree-lined and open parkland course that should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Plenty of golfing challenge, a well-crafted design and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of this course. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.

The Willows and Pioneer courses are located in Kenton County Public Park, a large recreational area 10 miles southwest of Cincinnati and the Ohio River.
Ryder Cup: Rome plays host to the first ever Ryder Cup to be staged in Italy, with the USA defending golf’s greatest team trophy at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club (Sept 29-Oct 1).
Solheim Cup: also in September, also in southern Europe, the 18th Solheim Cup will be contested at Finca Cortesin on the Costa del Sol, with Europe defending after their surprise win in Toledo, Inverness Club (Ohio) in 2021 (Sept 22-24).
