The Quarry Golf Club is a well-rated and always popular layout. This tree-lined parkland course should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Plenty of golfing challenge, a well-crafted design and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of this course. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.

Did you know?

The Quarry is built on an old quarry dating back to the 1800s. Nearby Canton was the adopted home of William McKinley, the 25th President of the United States (1897-1901). The city was where McKinley practiced law, and was his home during his successful campaign for Ohio governor, and the site of his front-porch campaign of 1896 for the presidency. Canton is now the site of the William McKinley Presidential Library and Museum and the McKinley National Memorial.

Ryder Cup: Rome plays host to the first ever Ryder Cup to be staged in Italy, with the USA defending golf’s greatest team trophy at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club (Sept 29-Oct 1).

Solheim Cup: also in September, also in southern Europe, the 18th Solheim Cup will be contested at Finca Cortesin on the Costa del Sol, with Europe defending after their surprise win in Toledo, Inverness Club (Ohio) in 2021 (Sept 22-24).
