Thornberry Creek at Oneida

4-star: Above average course - well worth a visit.

Est. 1994

Thornberry Creek at Oneida: Home course of the NFL's Green Bay Packers football team, Thornberry Creek offers the 18-hole Legends Championship layout as well as its 9-hole Original Iroquois course. At times quite open, at others more tree-lined, the Championship course will challenge your game with its array of bunkering and plentiful water hazards.

From a forested “Northwoods” setting at the start and finish of your round, there's a more prairie or meadow-like environment in the middle section of this out-and-back layout. Several holes in this middle section are routed through one of Green Bay’s most prestigious neighbourhood estates. More detailed description, images and other details to follow soon.

Did you know?

Thornberry Creek is the official golf course of the Green Bay Packers, the third oldest franchise in the National Football League. The Packers, founded in 1919, are the last survivors of the "small town teams" that were popular in the NFL in the 1920s and 30s. In addition to winning nine NFL titles before the Super Bowl era, they are also four-time winners of the Super Bowl, including the first two Super Bowls in 1967 and 1968. Their rivalry with the Chicago Bears is one of the oldest in the NFL, dating back to 1921.
