TPC Deere Run
TPC Deere Run, a member of the Tournament Players Club network, is one of the top-rated and finest championship golf courses in Illinois. This excellent tree-lined and open parkland layout contains a wealth of wonderfully crafted, memorable and challenging holes. Definitely a course that will challenge your all-round game, and well worth going out of your way to play to play.

TPC Deere Run is located in Silvis close to, and with a couple of holes alongside the Rock River, which flows into the Mississippi River just 14 miles to the west. The course is just outside East Moline, which is part of a conurbation of five cities, that also includes Moline, Rock Island and the Iowa cities of Davenport and Bettendorf. Although now five cities in total, the conurbation keeps its original title of the Quad Cities.
TPC Deere Run is the home of the PGA Tour's John Deere Classic (see our Tournaments section >by Venue > TPC Deere Run). The course is also a Certified Member of the Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary System.

Presidents Cup: Geoff Ogilvy’s International Team take on Brandt Snedeker’s USA Team at the revered Medinah Country Club, near Chicago. The Internationals are trying to halt a run of 11 consecutive American wins. (Sept 24-27).
French Open: Continental Europe’s oldest national championship, dating from 1906, is once again staged on the Albatros Course at Le Golf National, near Paris. Defending champion is America’s Michael Kim. (Sept 24-27).
Our visit last month included two rounds at Golf de Chantilly, one of France’s most prestigious clubs.
It offers two superb layouts: Le Vineuil, a five-star championship course with a rich history, and Longères, an excellent four-star course that provides a strong and enjoyable test.

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour.
