Miacomet is Nantucket Island's only public 18-hole golf facility, and is owned by the Nantucket Island Land Bank. The club's name is taken from an area of the island once inhabited by Native Americans; they referred to the area as "Miacomet" or "the meeting place".
The island is also home to two highly-rated, but private 18-hole courses: Sankaty Head GC and Nantucket GC. Next to Nantucket GC is Old Sconset Golf Course, a nine-hole public-access course. Established in 1894, Old Sconset is known locally as Skinner's.

Steve Stricker: four-time senior major championship winner, chases a fifth title as he defends at the 34th Regions Tradition (May 11-14), the first senior major of 2023.
Marco Simone Golf & Country Club: With a clubhouse that might befit a Roman Emperor, and a golf course to match, you can be sure of a memorable outing at Rome's most talked about golf facility.
Jim Fazio's original layout was much changed to create a modern Ryder Cup course ... now one of the Eternal City's (and Italy's) most revered.
