Gold Canyon Golf Resort (Sidewinder course)

3-star: a good golf course with many fine features.
Gold Canyon Golf Resort (Sidewinder course) Est. 1982

Where2Golf says:

Gold Canyon's Sidewinder course doesn't quite deliver the golfing punch or scenic splendour of Dinosaur Mountain, its more revered sibling. It does however offer a pleasant and good-quality round, without quite so many elevation changes and dramatic, desert-mountain holes. Although more of the course is routed through housing and the elevation changes are less pronounced, the Sidewinder still lays down a good test for your all round game. Either as a warm-up for the bigger challenges of Dinosaur Mountain or for a more relaxed round, the desert-style Sidewinder has its share of attractive holes and scenic vistas. Just make sure that after the 12th hole you don't inadvertently cross-over to the neighbouring Mountain Brook course, which passes just a few yards away.

At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodation is located close to the golf facilities.
