The Champions and North courses at Sandhurst Club are two well-rated and always popular layouts. In ranking terms the Champions course usually gets the edge over the North. These tree-lined and open parkland courses should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy.
Holes on the sandbelt style Champions course are dedicated to past champions of the game, and honour the skills and attributes of those champions. The open links-styling of the North course reflects the traditions of golf in the british Isles. Some of its features include a dry-stone wall surrounding the 3rd green, and a burn that bisects the 9th fairway.
Plenty of golfing challenge, a well-crafted design by Peter Thomson and Ross Perrett, and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of Sandhurst Club's courses. A venue to include on your play list if you are in the Melbourne area.
Sandhurst is a private club. Outside visitor play is restricted. Overseas and interstate visitors should contact the Club to determine playing possibilities.
Golf carts available for hire.
