  • The Course:

    27 holes. Tree-lined parkland. Relatively flat terrain - easy to walk.

  • Surroundings:

    Woodland, riverside (Assiniboine River) and limited residential.

  • Designer:

    Original design by Tom Bendelow (1904). In 1919 Donald Ross significantly redesigned the course to create the South & West nines (now called Ross & Woods nines). In 1929 Dr Alister MacKenzie added the North-nine (now called the MacKenzie-nine). Later improvements also added by Stanley Thompson, Norman Woods and Bill Robinson.

The private St Charles Country Club is home to a well-rated and pleasantly testing golf course. This 27-hole, tree-lined parkland layout should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Plenty of golfing challenge, a well-crafted design and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of this course. This private course is generally playable only by members and their invited guests.

US Women's PGA Championship: located just outside Philadelphia, the famed Donald Ross layout of Aronimink Golf Club hosts the third women’s major championship of 2020 (Oct 8-11).
