Santa Domingo Country Club

Private: A course for members and their invited guests only.

Est. 1920

Santo Domingo Country Club is a private country club, open only to its members and their guests. Located in the western residential outskirts of bustling Santo Domingo, plenty of trees do a good job in screening out the suburban world beyond the course, creating a mainly tree-lined, occasionally more open, golfing oasis.

On this pleasant, Robert Trent Jones designed, parkland layout, water hazards are infrequent, but good bunkering will be encountered around the greens and along the fairways.

The mix of dog-legging and straight holes, generally well separated by the lines of trees, will ensure all your shot-making repertoire is tested. Some attractive views can be enjoyed from the course's higher elevations.

Did you know?

Santo Domingo, or in full, Santo Domingo de Guzmán, is the capital and largest city in the Dominican Republic, with a population estimated at about 2.5 million.

Founded by Christopher Columbus in 1492, it is the oldest continuously inhabited European settlement in the Americas, and was the first seat of Spanish colonial rule in the New World. Originally known as La Isabela, after Queen Isabella of Spain, it was later renamed Santo Domingo, in honour of Saint Dominic.
