Golf Club Gut Lärchenhof: As you pass through the gated entrance and park alongside the powerful Porches and Mercedes, you'll detect an unmistakable air of affluence and grandeur about Gut Lärchenhof. Individually named top of the range golf carts, get prepared in the functional yet opulent clubhouse and tee it up on Jack Nicklaus's Signature design, you'll become t. Home to one of Germany's top-rated championship courses, and the only one in the country designed by Jack Nicklaus.

Exuding a relatively open feel, this tree-lined and open parkland layout contains plenty of stylish bunkering and a goodly array of water hazards, and you might expect from the Golden Bear. Plenty of golfing challenge and good upkeep contribute to the appeal of this well-crafted and testing design. Definitely one to include on your play list if you are in the area.

Traigh Golf Course (pronounced "try", and meaning "beach" in Gaelic): You'll find this nine-hole seaside gem on the scenic coast road (as opposed to the more inland and quicker A830) between Arisaig and Morar. Although not on the well-beaten path of Scotland's "trophy" courses, if you are passing through this area, it's a must play.
