Played as the inaugural Aramco Team Series - Sotogrande (Aug 5-7; Ladies European Tour event; each of the 36 teams includes three professionals and one amateur player). [La Reserva de Sotogrande GC, nr San Roque, Andalucia].
Individual competition: Second-placed Ashleigh Buhai (RSA) finished 5 shots behind 26-year-old Alison Lee (USA), who recorded her first win as a professional.
Team competition: Winners: Team Buhai (397, -35; with a par at first playoff hole): Ashleigh Buhai (RSA), Stacy Lee Bregman (RSA), Hayley Davis (Eng) & Ignacio Morillo (Esp; amateur); professionals in winning team received $50,000 each. Runners-up: Team Strom (397, -35): Linnea Strom (Swe), Jenny Haglund (Swe), Agathe Sauzon (Fra) & Alessandro Anzelmo (Italy, amateur).

Individual competition: second-placed Ana Pelaez Trivino (Esp), Pauline Roussin-Bouchard (Fra) and Jessica Korda (USA) finished 3 shots behind Nelly Korda (USA), who recorded her second Ladies European Tour win.
Team competition winners: Team Jessica Korda (255, -33): Jessica Korda (USA), Moora Komulainen (Fin), Tereza Melecka (Czech) & Malcolm Borwick (Eng, amateur); professionals in winning team received $35,000 each. Team competition runners-up: Pauline Roussin-Bouchard (Fra), Jana Melichova (Czech), Mim Sangkapong (Thai) & Ana Luisa Hernandez (Esp, amateur).

The Masters: The 88th Masters Tournament at Augusta National sees LIV golfer Jon Rahm defend his title against the world’s best. Pressing hard will be world No.1 and 2022 champion Scottie Scheffler and world No.2 Rory McIlroy (April 11-14).
Chevron Championship: the women’s major championship season gets underway for the second year at its new Carlton Woods home outside Houston, Texas. World No.2 Lilia Vu defends (April 18-21).
Nelly Korda: records a perfect start to 2024 with five wins out of her last five starts on the LPGA Tour. Winning the Chevron Championship also brought the second major championship win of her career.
Scottie Scheffler: narrowly missed out on matching Nelly Korda's five wins in five starts, when he placed second at the Houston Open. Either side of that, he won The Arnold Palmer, The Players, and then The Masters and The Heritage.
