Played as the LPGA Mediheal Championship (Oct 6-9). Second-placed Yuka Saso (Jpn) finished 1 shot behind 34-year-old wire-to-wire winner Jodi Ewart Shadoff (Eng), who recorded her first LPGA Tour win in her 246th start on the Tour. [Saticoy Club, Somis, nr Oxnard, CA].

Played as the LPGA Mediheal Championship (June 10-13). Second-placed Min Lee (Taiw) finished 2 shots behind 26-year-old LPGA Tour rookie Matilda Castren (Fin). Making her 15th start on the Tour, Castren recorded her first LPGA Tour victory, and became the Tour's first ever Finnish winner. [Lake Merced GC, San Francisco, CA].

Played as the inaugural LPGA Mediheal Championship (April 16-29). Lydia Ko (NZ) beat Minjee Lee (Aus) with an eagle at the first playoff hole (par-5 18th), to record her 15th LPGA Tour title. [Lake Merced GC, San Francisco, CA].
Presidents Cup: Geoff Ogilvy’s International Team take on Brandt Snedeker’s USA Team at the revered Medinah Country Club, near Chicago. The Internationals are trying to halt a run of 11 consecutive American wins. (Sept 24-27).
French Open: Continental Europe’s oldest national championship, dating from 1906, is once again staged on the Albatros Course at Le Golf National, near Paris. Defending champion is America’s Michael Kim. (Sept 24-27).
Our visit last month included two rounds at Golf de Chantilly, one of France’s most prestigious clubs.

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour.
