Davies (Eng) recorded the season's lowest stroke average on the Ladies European Tour.
Park (S Kor) won the Vare Trophy, recording the season's lowest scoring average on the LPGA Tour (over a minimum of 70 rounds). Lorena Ochoa (Mex) was second with 70.02; Cristie Kerr (USA) was third with 70.33. Annika Sorenstam (Swe) averaged 68.70, but played only 66 rounds.

Sörenstam (Swe) won her seventh (and fourth straight) LPGA Tour Money List, with 2004 season earnings of $2,544,707 on the Tour. Grace Park (S Kor) was second with $1,525,471; Lorena Ochoa (Mex) was third with $1,450,824.

Davies (Eng) won her sixth LET Robe di Kappa Order of Merit, based on a season-long points total of 777.26 pts. Trish Johnson (Eng) was second with 672.65 pts; Stephanie Arricau (Fra) was third with 657.77 pts. On the LET money list Davies finished with earnings of €254,774, Johnson with €160,179 and Arricau with €171,143.
Arricau (Fra) won the LET Players' Player of the Year Award, based on the votes of her peers.

Sörenstam (Swe) won her seventh (and fourth straight) LPGA Tour Player of the Year Award, based on a points system for top 10 finishes and performance in Majors.

Blomqvist (Fin) won the LET 2004 Ryder Cup Wales Rookie of the Year Award as the leading first-season player. 19 year-old Blomqvist finished seventh on the Tour's (points-based) Order of Merit, and had winnings of €105,020 during the season.

Ahn (S Kor) won the LPGA Tour 2004 Louise Suggs Rookie of the Year Award as the leading first-season player. Award based on a points accumulation for finishes in Tour events. Ahn finished 16th on the LPGA money list, with earnings of $628,804.
Sony Open in Hawaii: played at Waialae Country Club near Honolulu, the Sony Open takes over the spotlight from The Sentry as the PGA Tour’s calendar-year opening event (Jan 15-18). The Sentry (not being played in 2026) was formerly known as the Tournament of Champions, with a field typically restricted to golfers who won a PGA Tour event in the previous calendar year.
Dubai Desert Classic: the DP World Tour’s first Rolex Series event of 2026, is contested for the 37th time (Jan 22-25). First won by Englishman Mark James in 1989, it now boasts a four-time winner, Rory McIlroy. Played on the Emirates Golf Club’s Majlis course, this once desert-surrounded course is the long-time flagship for Golf in Dubai.
