The Ricoh Women's British Open (37th) (Aug 1-4). Second-placed Hee Young Park (S Kor) and Na Yeon Choi (S Kor) finished 2 shots behind Lewis (USA). On the final day Lewis clinched victory with a birdie-birdie finish on the Old Course's famous 17th and 18th holes. [The Old Course, St Andrews, Fife].

Played as the Kraft Nabisco Championship (42nd) (April 4-7). Second-placed So Yeon Ryu (S Kor) finished 4 shots behind Parl (S Kor), who recorded her second career major title, and continued the Asian domination in the women's major championships. [Dinah Shore Tournament course, Mission Hills CC, Rancho Mirage, CA].

The Evian Championship (20th) (Sept 12-15; previously called the Evian Masters; first year as an LET/LPGA major championship). Second-placed Lydia Ko (NZ, amateur) finished 2 shots behind Pettersen (Nor), who won her second major championship title. Reduced to 54 holes due to rain. [Evian Resort GC, Evian-les-Bains, France].

The US Women's Open (68th) (June 27-30). Second-placed In-kyung "I.K." Kim (S Kor) finished 4 shots behind Park (S Kor). Park became only the second ever golfer to win the first three women's major championships of the season (Babe Zaharias achieved this feat in 1950). This was also Park's third straight win on the LPGA Tour. [Sebonack GC, Southampton, Long Island, NY].

Wegmans
The Wegmans LPGA Championship (59th) (June 6-9). Park (S Kor) beat Catriona Matthew (Scot) with a birdie at the third playoff hole (par-4 18th). Park recorded back-to-back major championship titles, winning the first two majors of the 2013 season. [Locust Hill CC, Pittsford, Rochester, NY].
Sony Open in Hawaii: played at Waialae Country Club near Honolulu, the Sony Open takes over the spotlight from The Sentry as the PGA Tour’s calendar-year opening event (Jan 15-18). The Sentry (not being played in 2026) was formerly known as the Tournament of Champions, with a field typically restricted to golfers who won a PGA Tour event in the previous calendar year.
Dubai Desert Classic: the DP World Tour’s first Rolex Series event of 2026, is contested for the 37th time (Jan 22-25). First won by Englishman Mark James in 1989, it now boasts a four-time winner, Rory McIlroy. Played on the Emirates Golf Club’s Majlis course, this once desert-surrounded course is the long-time flagship for Golf in Dubai.

Here at Prince’s Golf Club you'll find 27 excellent holes of links golf. Just over the fence and sharing similar terrain is Royal St George’s; but Prince’s is far from overshadowed by its venerable neighbour.
