Chris Kirk (USA) was second with 3,100 pts; Rory McIlroy (N.Ire) was third with 3,050 pts. The Cup is awarded based on points earned during the regular PGA Tour season and in the four playoff events.

McIlroy (N.Ire) won his second Harry Vardon Trophy as the European Tour 2014 Race to Dubai winner (based on his season-long European Tour earnings denominated in euros). McIlroy finished the season with European Tour earnings of €7,149,503, which included his Race to Dubai winner's bonus of $1,250,000. Second was Henrik Stenson (Swe) with earnings of €4,981,093, includes bonus of $800,000; third was Justin Rose (Eng) with €3,180,388, includes bonus of $530,000. As he did in 2012, McIlroy topped both the US PGA Tour and European Tour money-lists in 2014.

Kim (S Kor) won the OneAsia Tour Order of Merit, with 2014 earnings of US$501,990 on the Tour. Hao-tong Li (China) was second with $219,982; Jun-won Park (S Kor) was third with $205,072.

2014 Sunshine Tour Order of Merit (and associated Sid Brews Trophy). Won by Aiken (RSA) with season earnings of R4,057,641. Second was Danie van Tonder (RSA) with R3,900,386; third was George Coetzee (RSA) with R3,339,250. Branden Grace (RSA) earned R3.8 million and Ross Fisher (Eng) earned R3.6 million on the Tour, but both did not play the minimum of eight tournaments to be ranked in the Order of Merit.
Rory McIlroy (N.Ire) won his second European Tour Golfer of the Year Award, determined by a panel of representatives from the European Tour, golf writers, and TV and radio commentators.

Rory McIlroy (N.Ire) won the 2013-14 Jack Nicklaus Award as the PGA Tour Player of the Year, based on the votes of his peers. He received this award for the second time in his career.

Chesson Hadley (USA) won the PGA Tour 2013-14 Rookie of the Year Award as the leading first-season player. He finished 58th on the Tour's money list, with earnings of $1,703,316.
Sony Open in Hawaii: played at Waialae Country Club near Honolulu, the Sony Open takes over the spotlight from The Sentry as the PGA Tour’s calendar-year opening event (Jan 15-18). The Sentry (not being played in 2026) was formerly known as the Tournament of Champions, with a field typically restricted to golfers who won a PGA Tour event in the previous calendar year.
Dubai Desert Classic: the DP World Tour’s first Rolex Series event of 2026, is contested for the 37th time (Jan 22-25). First won by Englishman Mark James in 1989, it now boasts a four-time winner, Rory McIlroy. Played on the Emirates Golf Club’s Majlis course, this once desert-surrounded course is the long-time flagship for Golf in Dubai.
