Maja Stark (Swe) recorded the 2022 season's lowest stroke average (69.27) on the Ladies European Tour. Linn Grant (Swe) was second with 69.36; Leona Maguire (Ire) was third with 69.68.
Lydia Ko (NZ) won the Vare Trophy, recording the LPGA Tour's 2022 season lowest scoring average (68.988), over a minimum of 60 rounds. Hyo Joo Kim (S Kor) was second with 69.390; Atthaya Thitikul (Thai) was third with 69.458. Ko won this award for the second straight year, and became only the second LPGA Tour player after Annika Sörenstam (Swe) to win the Vare Trophy with a scoring average in the 68s.

Lydia Ko (NZ) won the LPGA Tour 2022 Money List with 2022 season earnings of $4,364,403 on the Tour. Minjee Lee (Aus) was second with $3,809,960; In Gee Chun (S Kor) was third with $2,673,860. Ko also won this award in 2015.

23-year-old Linn Grant (Swe) won the Ladies European Tour 2022 Order of Merit (Race to Costa del Sol) and associated €125,000 bonus. During the season-long points chase she accumulated 3,624.91 points (and LET prize-money of €838,615). In a clean sweep of the top three places by Swedish golfers, Maja Stark (Swe) was second with 3415.14 pts (and winnings of €512,313); third was Johanna Gustavsson (Swe) 1,946.08 pts (winnings €256,270). Grant emulated Laura Davies (Eng; 1985), Carlota Ciganda (Esp; 2012), Esther Henseleit (Ger; 2019) and Atthaya Thitikul (Thai; 2021) in winning both the LET's Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year award in the same season.
23-year-old Linn Grant (Swe) won the LET Players' Player of the Year Award, based on the votes of her peers. She also won the LET's 2022 Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year award.
Lydia Ko (NZ) won the LPGA 2022 Rolex Player of the Year Award with 180 pts, based on a points system for top 10 finishes and performance in Majors. Minjee Lee (Aus) was second with 149 pts; Brooke M. Henderson (Can) was third with 134 pts.

Lydia Ko (NZ) won the LPGA Tour's 2022 season-long points chase, the Race to the CME Globe, with 3,571 pts. Ko won this Race for the third time. Atthaya "Jeeno" Thitikul (Thai) was second with 2,760 pts; Brooke M. Henderson (Can) was third with 2,586 pts.
Note: the 2022 "Race", based on points earned for "above the cut line" finishes, determined the 60 competitors for the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship and its $2 million first prize (also won by Lydia Ko).

Linn Grant (Swe) won the 2022 Rookie of the Year Award as the Ladies European Tour's leading first-season player, determined by the same points-based system as used for the LET's Order of Merit. She accumulated 3,624.91 points (winning €838,615 in the process). Second in the rookie race was Ana Pelaez Trivino (Esp) with 1,657.21 pts (winnings €182,005); third was Ines Laklalech (Morocco) with 943.81 pts (winnings €87,036).
23-year-old Grant emulated Laura Davies (Eng; 1985), Carlota Ciganda (Esp; 2012), Esther Henseleit (Ger; 2019) and Atthaya Thitikul (Thai; 2021) in winning both the LET's Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year award in the same season.

Atthaya Thitikul (Thai) won the LPGA Tour 2022 Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year Award as the leading first-season player. Using a season-long points system (based on finishes in Tour events), Thitikul accumulated 1,587 pts. In the process she won $2,193,642 in official prize-money and finished fifth on the LPGA money list. Second was Hye-jin Choi (S Kor) with 1,292 pts (earning $2,075,696, and finishing 6th); third was Ayaka Furue (Jpn) with 759 pts (earning $957,831, and finishing 29th).
Sony Open in Hawaii: played at Waialae Country Club near Honolulu, the Sony Open takes over the spotlight from The Sentry as the PGA Tour’s calendar-year opening event (Jan 15-18). The Sentry (not being played in 2026) was formerly known as the Tournament of Champions, with a field typically restricted to golfers who won a PGA Tour event in the previous calendar year.
Dubai Desert Classic: the DP World Tour’s first Rolex Series event of 2026, is contested for the 37th time (Jan 22-25). First won by Englishman Mark James in 1989, it now boasts a four-time winner, Rory McIlroy. Played on the Emirates Golf Club’s Majlis course, this once desert-surrounded course is the long-time flagship for Golf in Dubai.
