Defending champion Tom Kim from South Korea brings an international flavor to this event. Known for its commitment to charitable causes, specifically children's healthcare, the tournament not only showcases emerging golf talents but also contributes significantly to the community. With a purse of $7 million, it remains a significant stop on the PGA Tour.
ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP (October 24-27) Venturing outside the U.S., the ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP at Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Chiba, Japan continues to draw global attention. With Collin Morikawa of the United States returning as the defending champion, this tournament is renowned for its challenging layout and strategic play. The lush fairways and well-manicured greens, combined with a prize fund of $8.5 million, ensure a high level of competition and international interest.
November's Fairways
World Wide Technology Championship (November 7-10) The picturesque El Cardonal at Diamante in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, hosts this event where South African Erik van Rooyen will defend his title. The tournament's scenic ocean views coupled with a purse of $7.2 million draw a competitive international field.
Butterfield Bermuda Championship (November 14-17) At the Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton Parish, Bermuda, golfers will compete under subtropical conditions. Colombia's Camilo Villegas is the previous winner, and the event's unique setting makes it a favorite for both players and spectators, with a prize fund of $6.9 million.
The RSM Classic (November 21-24) The month concludes with The RSM Classic at the Sea Island Resort on the Seaside Course in Saint Simons Island, Georgia. Sony Open in Hawaii: played at Waialae Country Club near Honolulu, the Sony Open takes over the spotlight from The Sentry as the PGA Tour’s calendar-year opening event (Jan 15-18). The Sentry (not being played in 2026) was formerly known as the Tournament of Champions, with a field typically restricted to golfers who won a PGA Tour event in the previous calendar year.
Dubai Desert Classic: the DP World Tour’s first Rolex Series event of 2026, is contested for the 37th time (Jan 22-25). First won by Englishman Mark James in 1989, it now boasts a four-time winner, Rory McIlroy. Played on the Emirates Golf Club’s Majlis course, this once desert-surrounded course is the long-time flagship for Golf in Dubai.
