Rodrigo Ulrich (Director of Golf). The Course:
18 holes. Parkland & open links-style. Gently undulating terrain - a few slopes to climb.
Surroundings:
Duneland and coastal pine forest.
Designer:
Designed by NCM Network (lead architect Snorri Vihljalmsson), in consultation with signature designer Sergio García.
Above distances are for the Torre course. Located 10 km to the south, is Terras da Comporta's 18-hole Dunas course (par-71; 6646 m from back tees; rating 74.4).

Terras da Comporta (Torre course): opened in the summer of 2025, Terras da Comporta's second course is located 10 km to the north of the much celebrated Dunas (Dunes) layout. With input from "signature designer" Sergio Garcia, the Torre (Tower) course lacks the drama and elevation changes of its slightly older sibling, but still offers an excellent challenge and plenty of captivating holes.
Laid out on open linksy terrain, huge sandy waste areas and large sprawling bunkers ensure there's plenty of sand to distract your gaze from the gently rolling good-width fairways. The holes lead to supposedly "small" greens. However, these subtly-sloping putting surfaces would still be regarded as a "good size" by a "Golden Age" golf course architect like Harry Colt.
Pick of the holes: the long and heavily sand-defended par-5 18th ensures a memorable end to your round on the Torre course.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.
Must book in advance.

The masterplan for Terras da Comporta envisages a substantial and upmarket golf resort development, based on an ethos of quality, sustainability and eco-friendliness. In addition to the existing Dunas course, a second 18-hole championship course (signature designer Sergio Garcia) is also now open.
Over time, the luxury upmarket resort will include hotels and tourist condominiums, a commercial and cultural component, various sports and wellness facilitie, an exclusive Racquet Club with 10 tennis courts, including a natural grass court and 9 paddle courts, and other sports activities. There will also be facilities for the younger members of the family to enjoy themselves.
