Camiral Golf & Wellness (Tour course)

4-star: Above average course - well worth a visit.

Est. 2005

Camiral Golf & Wellness (formerly PGA Catalunya Resort) is home to two fine championship layouts, the Stadium and Tour courses. Laid out on undulating terrain with predominantly tree-lined holes, the Tour course provides a shorter and easier-going challenge than its more revered sibling, the Stadium course.

Dominated by pine trees and lakes, the Tour course is home to generally good-width fairways, attractively defined by strategically located bunkers. A few water hazards have also been incorporated into the middle section of the back-nine.

While the picturesque front-nine meanders through pine forest, the back-nine opens out onto holes that roll with the contours of the undulating terrain. Risk-takers are rewarded here, especially on the par-5 holes, where there is space enough to open the shoulders from the tees.
