Golf Club Peralada: Openness and well-spaced olive trees create the first impression you get of the golf course at Peralada. After the rather straightforward, short and wide opening par-4, there is a lot more interesting golf to come - especially on the stronger back-nine.
Laid out on this gently undulating and easy-walking terrain, Jorge Soler has designed a well-balanced course - neither too demanding nor a give-away. With nice views of surrounding hills and an excellent standard of presentation the course is well worth a visit if you are in the area.
It's clear there are many villa sites still to be occupied around the course, but the current constructions and future building programme thankfully does not appear to be too intrusive.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.
Must book in advance. Proof of handicap required.
Players generally walk this course.
