Stenungsund
Stenungsund Golfklubb: This is a picturesque setting for a relatively open golf course which has small rocky hills, partly forested, nestling alongside the course's boundaries.
The naturalness of the surroundings and golfing challenge are captured in most holes, and only the oversize greens feel somewhat artificial - although it should be said they are of excellent quality, both firm and true.
The course comprises a front-nine inner loop and a back-nine outer loop that runs clockwise around the perimeter. A small river winds its way across the course creating the need for several small wooden bridges, and occasionally creating a water hazard to be wary of, especially in front of the 2nd, 6th, 9th, 12th and 17th greens.
There are no sea views (the sea is 3-4 kilometres away) but an excellent golf outing is in store for visitors to Steningsund Golf Club.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.
Must book in advance. Maximum handicap: 36.
Players generally walk this course. Golf carts available for hire.
Good
Stenungsund Golfklubb enjoys a good reputation for attracting visiting golfers and an equally good reputation for attracting local people at lunchtime!

Lottie Woad: 21-year-old Woad burst onto the professional scene in July, with wins in the Women’s Irish Open (as an amateur) and three weeks later in the Women’s Scottish Open (as a professional). She nearly picked-up a major championship, placing third in The Evian in the same month.
