Finland
Finland is a land of two seasons. Winter, which lasts from 6 to 8 months, from north to south, and summer, equally intense and spectacular. Between the two, spring and autumn are as wonderful as they are short. The golfing season in Finland begins at the beginning of May and lasts until October, but you can play for twice as long as anywhere else. In the summer, night-time is just a brief period of dusk. In and around Helsinki there are many 18-hole golf courses. Helsinki Golf Club (HGK) is the oldest and most prestigious golf course, founded in 1932. HGK is also widely known by the name of the old manor "Tali" and has hosted more championships than any other club in Finland, including the Ladies European Tour competition. To make the most of your golfing trip, and to help in your planning, you can look up the location of the best courses in Finland on our customised maps.
