Cornelia Golf Club

4-star: generally an excellent standard golf course, well worth visiting.
   Cornelia Golf Club Est. 2006

Where2Golf says:

Cornelia Golf Club is home to one of Turkey's well-rated championship courses. This 27-hole tree-lined parkland layout should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Plenty of golfing challenge and usually good upkeep contribute to the appeal of this well-crafted and pleasantly testing design.

The three nine-hole loops (Tiberius 1-9, Sempronia 10-18, and Gaius 19-27) can be played as three 18-hole combinations: the King (Tiberius & Sempronia), the Queen (Sempronia & Gaius) and the Prince (Gaius & Tiberius). Tiberius and Sempronia are usually regarded as the best combination. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.

At this Stay & Play venue, the on-site accommodation is located close to the golf facilities.

Did you know?

The three nines at Cornelia Golf Club are named after leading military figures and politicans of the Roman Empire. Tiberius Sempronius Gracchus and his brother Gaius Sempronius Gracchus were the sons of Tiberius Sempronius Gracchus the Elder and Cornelia Africana. Their family, the Gracchi branch of the gens Sempronia, was one of the most politically connected and powerful in ancient Rome.
