Trump Dubai
Trump International Golf Club - Dubai, which opened in February 2017, is home to a highly-rated desert-style layout designed by Gil Hanse. The course sits in the middle of the Damac Hills residential development and is complemented by a 30,000 square foot clubhouse, the largest of its kind in Dubai.
Hanse's layout here utilised a large and cavernous barranca as the backbone of the routing. The barranca strategically interacts with the holes providing elevation change, views beyond the course and many exciting golf shots.
The rolling fairways, inspired by the natural desert contours, took shape on top of the pure, endemic red sand. The juxtaposition of rustic barranca and formal revetted bunkering provides an impressive look and a unique combination of hazards.
Gusty wind, a wide variety of vegetation and an abundance of exposed sand all require deliberate shot making decisions in order to score. A handful of holes incorporate formidable water hazards, further encouraging strategic tee and approach shots.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.
Must book in advance.

Trump Golf plans to establish a second golf course in Dubai from 2020. The existing Trump International Golf Club - Dubai will be joined by Trump World Golf Club - Dubai, which will be home to an 18-hole championship course designed by Tiger Woods, built by DAMAC Properties and operated by the Trump Golf organisation.
