Legend Trail
Legend Trail Golf Club: On the front nine you'll quickly get acclimatised to a very pleasant, nicely undulating desert type course, although the housing often obscures your view of the mountain vistas that lie beyond. Things change quite dramatically on the back nine - the undulations increase, the views get better and the holes a tad tougher.
The uphill dog-legging par-4 11th and long par-3 12th are very likely to make or break any rounds that are tootling along quite nicely. A very solid 4-star desert type course, even if the predominance of housing diminishes its naturalness to some extent.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.
Must book in advance.
Walking permitted.
Excellent
The course is located on what was formerly a desert cattle ranch, operated for many years by the Donahoe family.

Walker Cup: the 50th playing of this prestigious men’s amateur event sees the GB&I go head-to-head against the defending USA team at Cypress Point Club, California (Sept 6-7).
