Sherwood CC
Sherwood Country Club: This private golf club (open to members and their guests only) is home to the renowned 18-hole championship Sherwood Course, as well as an 18-hole par-3 layout, known as the Lake course.
Legendary golfer and course designer Jack Nicklaus exceeded expectations when he designed the 7,025-yard championship course. No matter what your playing ability, top tour professional or aspiring amateur, the Sherwood course provides an exceptional playing experience. The creative use of land elevations and valleys, waterfalls, running streams, and unique rock formations echo the aesthetically rich natural environment of Sherwood Valley and tranquil Lake Sherwood.
Every tee box affords a breathtaking view, while the immaculately groomed fairways are lined with groves of predominantly oak, willow and sycamore trees. The front-nine holes rise into the majestic Santa Monica mountains and offer stunning vistas from every angle. The back-nine holes dip towards beautiful Lake Sherwood before rising back into the hills for a dramatic finish at the Clubhouse.
Sherwood Country Club is a private club. Guests may only play if hosted by a member.
Sherwood Country Club has hosted many top-level tournaments and currently stages the annual World Challenge, an event hosted by Tiger Woods (see our Tournaments section > by Venue > Sherwood CC).
