Bear Trap Dunes
Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club is home to a well-rated and pleasantly testing 27-hole golf course that comprises the Grizzly, Kodiak and Black Bear nines. The course is located in the state of Delaware, a 30-minute drive north of Ocean City (which is across the stateline in Maryland).
This inland links-style layout should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Holes like the long par-3 3rd on the Black Bear nine will test your nerve, with water dangerously in play on your right. A hole-in-one here is certainly one to savour.
Plenty of golfing challenge, a well-crafted design and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of this course. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.
Visitors welcome on weekdays and weekends.
Must book in advance.
Golf cart compulsory for non-members.
