Country Club, Pepper Pike
The Country Club, located in Pepper Pike, a leafy outer suburb of Cleveland, is home to a revered William Flynn layout. Occupying 240 acres of rolling terrain, with a brook that runs through the middle of the course, most holes play to generous width fairways. Skirting alongside The Country Club to the east, is the separate and also private Pepper Pike Club. It too is home to an excellent layout originally crafted by William Flynn.
Private club - guests may only play if hosted by a member.
The Country Club (Pepper Pike) has staged many top level events over the years, although perhaps not quite as many as its namesake in Brookline, near Boston. Located in the outer suburbs of Cleveland, the former has played host to both the US Amateur (1935) and US Women's Amateur (2012) championships. Marco Simone Golf & Country Club: With a clubhouse that might befit a Roman Emperor, and a golf course to match, you can be sure of a memorable outing at Rome's most talked about golf facility.
Jim Fazio's original layout was much changed to create a modern Ryder Cup course ... now one of the Eternal City's (and Italy's) most revered.
Golf Son Gual is home to a course frequently rated the No.1 layout on the holiday island of Mallorca. Opening for play in 2007, this Thomas Himmel design combines the openness of a links-style layout with the stylish bunkering and not infrequent water hazards more typically associated with parkland courses.
Son Gual is located just a few kilometres from Palma (Mallorca). Palma's Old City shows clear influences from the city's Arab past.
