Golf Saint-Raphaël, which sits alongside the private Royal Montreal Golf Club, is home to two pleasantly testing golf courses. The public-access Red/No.1 course was designed by Graham Cooke and opened in 1994. The generally higher-rated, more expensive and more restricted access Blue/No.2 layout was created by Neil Haworth ten years later.
These tree-lined and open parkland layout should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Plenty of golfing challenge, well-crafted designs and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of these courses. Worth including on your play list if you are in the area.
Visitors welcome on weekdays (before 8am and after 3pm) and weekends (after 3pm).
Must book in advance.
Walking permitted. Golf carts available to rent.

Alongside and to the southwest of Golf Saint-Raphaël is the 45-hole private Royal Montreal Golf Club.

Lottie Woad: 21-year-old Woad burst onto the professional scene in July, with wins in the Women’s Irish Open (as an amateur) and three weeks later in the Women’s Scottish Open (as a professional). She nearly picked-up a major championship, placing third in The Evian in the same month.
