Hershey CC (West)
Hershey Country Club's West course is one of two 18-hole layouts in the "Hershey Collection". Sitting alongside the also highly-regarded East course, the West is an older and shorter layout than its sibling. Guests staying at the Hotel Hershey or Hershey Lodge enjoy access to both these member-only layouts.
The West has a distinguished history of hosting top level tournaments, including the US PGA Championship in 1940. The course brings you alongside part of Hershey's chocolate production facility, with one hole played in front of the original Milton S. Hershey Mansion (now part of the Hershey Trust). This tree-lined and open parkland course should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy.
A mile away from the Country Club, and open to the public, you'll find the chocolatier's nine-hole Spring Creek course. Until 2013 the collection also included the Hershey Links. This open British-style layout was also operated on a public access basis but shut down in 2013 to make way for student housing.
Stay&Play at Hershey: nearby luxury accommodation available (2.2. mi), see Where2Stay section below.
Hershey CC is a private club. Outside visitor play on its East and West courses is restricted to guests staying at the Hotel Hershey or Hershey Lodge.
Must book in advance.
Non-metal spike facility. Golf cart compulsory for resort guests.
