18 holes. Tree-lined parkland. Gently undulating terrain - a few slopes to climb.
Bill Coore & Ben Crenshaw
The four 18-hole golf courses at Barton Creek are: COORE CRENSHAW (par-71, 6630 yds from back tees, located at the main resort centre); FAZIO FOOTHILLS (par-72, 7125 yds, located at main resort centre); FAZIO CANYONS (par-72, 7153 yds, 2.5 mi SW of resort centre); PALMER LAKESIDE (par-71, 6645 yds, 26 mi NW of main resort centre).
10 mi W of downtown Austin.
Barton Creek Resort & Spa is home to four 18-hole championship courses. The Fazio Foothills and Coore Crenshaw courses are located at the main resort centre, while the Fazio Canyons (generally the highest-rated of the four) is two miles from the resort centre, and Palmer Lakeside is 26 miles away.
The Coore Crenshaw course (also known as the Cliffside course) is a well-rated and pleasantly testing layout. This tree-lined parkland course should not disappoint, with many attractive features and several excellent holes to enjoy. Plenty of golfing challenge, a well-crafted design and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of this course. One to include on your play list if you are in the area.
